I’m from Cumming, GA, and I’m now a senior at UGA. I’m pursuing a double major in English and ocean science with plans to attend graduate school for marine sciences. Currently, I’m working with Dr. Maria Hamilton on phycosphere interactions and metabolite exchanges between phytoplankton and bacteria. Outside of the lab, I love going to local music shows and spending time in nature! Some of my favorite books include Lord of the Rings and The God of Small Things.
