Masters Graduate Research Assistant (non-thesis)

I am currently completing Non-Thesis M.S. in Marine Science and graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Georgia.  I am primarily interested in the functional roles of microbial communities in an ecosystem, and my non-thesis project studies the effects of marine bacteria co-culture on the growth parameters of four model phytoplankton groups. After graduation, I plan on pursuing a Ph.D. to study how climate change can interfere with the functional roles of microbial communities in a marine environment. Outside of research, I enjoy climbing, hiking, and miniature painting.
